Job Announcement: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Serving schools and districts across the Northeastern Utah region (offices are based in Heber City, UT – applicants from anywhere in the northeastern Utah region encouraged to apply)
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (full-time = up to 200 days annually)
Salary Range (Full-Time): $85,000 – $108,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience

About NUES:
Northeastern Utah Educational Services (NUES) is a regional educational service center committed to supporting school districts and charter schools in the northeastern region of Utah. We provide high-quality services, professional development, and collaborative support to enhance student outcomes and educator effectiveness.

Position Overview:
NUES is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the behavioral and educational needs of students across our member districts. The BCBA will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies that promote positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct support and consultation to school teams regarding behavioral strategies and implementation
  • Train and coach school staff in behavior management techniques and data collection
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and adjust as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with behavioral challenges
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and professional standards

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel within the NUES region as needed

NUES is one of the State’s four regional education service agencies (RESAs) and was originally established to provide educational services to Daggett, Duchesne, Morgan, North Summit, Park City, Rich, South Summit and Wasatch School Districts. The following charter schools are also included in the NUES consortium: Soldier Hollow, Terra Academy, Uintah River High School, Weilenmann School of Discovery and Winter Sports School.
