PreK-3 Early Learning Coach

Job Description:

PreK-3 Early Learning Coaches work with Preschool through Grade 3 classroom teachers in districts and charters within a regional area to improve English Language Arts and Mathematics instruction. They focus on the implementation of the Utah Core Standards with evidence-based literacy and numeracy practices using district or charter adopted curriculum and tools. The Early Learning Coach will provide sustained support to teachers through a continuum of coaching and professional learning opportunities.

Educational Background:

•  Master of Education in Educational Leadership - BYU
•  Master of Education with an emphasis in reading - University of Utah
•  Bachelor of Science in Education - BYU
•  Admin Certification

• Northeastern Utah Educational Services - PreK-3 Early Learning Coach, 2021-present
• Wasatch School District - 2016-2021
• BYU Idaho English355 Instructor - 2010-present
• Jordan School District - 2005-2016
