Network Engineer

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Executive Director and the Board, the NUES Network Engineer supports the use of the Internet and its related applications within the NUES office and the districts served by NUES.  Performs the functions of a technology help desk resource for staff and faculty within the districts served by NUES.  Supports district technology directors in troubleshooting and resolving network issues in a timely manner via Internet communication technology, telephone and/or in person. Responsible for maintaining and supporting the NUES network including routers, switches, firewalls, websites and all hardware and software at the NUES point of Internet access.
