POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
BTS Arts Integration Coach
Northeastern Utah Educational Services (NUES) is seeking a region Beverley Taylor Sorenson (BTS) Arts Integration Coach.
Position Overview
Benefits: Utah Retirement System (URS), comprehensive PEHP Health and Dental package
Contract Details: 200-day contract
Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 (Based on degree and experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Coaching: Provide sustained, job-embedded coaching and professional development to BTS Arts educators, Artist-in-Residence programs, and Secondary Art educators to optimize arts integration practices in student learning.
- Standards Alignment: Focus on regional implementation of the Utah Core Standards for Fine Arts through instructional models outlined in the BTS Arts Learning Program Handbook from the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with the NUES Director to collaborate with school/district leadership, the USBE, and the Art Works for Kids Fine Arts Team to satisfy regional program needs.
- Regional Art Initiatives: Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual NUES Region Art Show and assist with other RESA art events and initiatives.
- Travel: Travel regularly within the region to support educators and to participate in professional learning sessions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current Utah Professional Teaching License with one of the following:
- Elementary License: Must hold an Elementary Specialist Endorsement in a specific art form.
- Secondary License: Must hold a Secondary Endorsement in a specific art form with a K-12 Extension OR an art form-specific Elementary Specialist Endorsement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the BTS Arts Learning Program and the Utah Core Standards for Fine Arts.
- Practical experience in adult learning principles and instructional coaching models.
- Tech-proficiency with educational and remote communication systems (Canvas, Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Suite).
- Exceptional communication, writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Three (3) or more years of experience as a BTS Arts Educator.
- Endorsements across multiple art forms.

Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (full-time = up to 200 days annually)
Salary Range (Full-Time): $85,000 – $108,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience

Position Overview:
NUES is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the behavioral and educational needs of students across our member districts. The BCBA will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies that promote positive student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct support and consultation to school teams regarding behavioral strategies and implementation
- Train and coach school staff in behavior management techniques and data collection
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and adjust as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and professional standards
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel within the NUES region as needed
