About the Role
NUES is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist and/or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary team supporting students, educators, and families across our member districts. This position can be structured as full-time or part-time, offering flexibility while contributing meaningful services to schools throughout the region.
You will play a key role in assessment, intervention, consultation, and behavior support, helping ensure students receive the services they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and functional behavior assessments.
- Provide direct and indirect support to students through evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement behavior plans and academic supports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Offer professional development and consultation to school teams.
- Support MTSS/RTI frameworks and schoolwide behavior initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
School Psychologist candidates:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Current Utah School Psychologist license or eligibility.
BCBA candidates:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing.
Preferred:
- Experience working in K–12 educational settings.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to travel between school sites within the NUES region.

Position Overview:
NUES is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support the behavioral and educational needs of students across our member districts. The BCBA will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies that promote positive student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct support and consultation to school teams regarding behavioral strategies and implementation
- Train and coach school staff in behavior management techniques and data collection
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans and adjust as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and professional standards
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel within the NUES region as needed
