Job Description

To promote the integration of technology in NUES classrooms, to enhance the learning environment, and strive to implement the latest in technology and teaching strategies to the teachers of Northeastern Utah, as well as mentor teachers in the use of formative and summative data.

eMINTS (EETT federal grant)

Instructing teachers in proven teaching strategies of constructivism, inquiry based and cooperative learning to 5 teachers of Uintah School District. This class meets every other week after school  for 4 hours. Implementation of eMINTS model coordinated with USD technology staff

Provide professional development for the 9 NUES school districts in the area of technology

Enthuse teachers to integrate technology into their curriculum

Instituted the Tech Tools check out program, providing digital cameras, Palm handhelds, etc. for teachers to check out from NUES

Correlate technology training services from UEN, USOE, and the regional service centers for the NUES districts

Represent NUES region technology directors & users at monthly UTIPS user group meeting

Model proven teaching strategies with technology in classrooms
