I have been working at NUES for 15 years as the special education specialist. I consult with districts about the instruction and assessment of English Language Learners. I also serve on state committees occasionally to provide input into the development of new special education rules and procedures. I serve as a mentor to the special education teachers as they implement instructional practices and monitor compliance with state and federal regulations.
I am involved in ongoing program improvement projects in the region. I strive each year to make the special education and alternative language programs better fit the needs of the students and families.

I received my B.S. and M.Ed. from University of Utah. My hobbies include oil painting and growing flowers in my yard.
